The beaches of Castelldefels are covered with fine golden sand. Three “blue flags” for 5 km of beach confirm the purity of the water and the sand. The town’s residents and guests know how to have fun, so any time of year you can get into a party. One of our favourites is the Fiestas del Mar in mid-July, with a dramatized pirate disembarkation. And then there are the fiestas of San Jordi and Castañada, Carnival, the summer and winter Fiestas Majores, two Christmas Cavalcatas and dozens of smaller fiestas. You will definitely not get bored.

How to get to Castelldefels from Barcelona?

You can get from Barcelona to Castelldefels and vice versa by car, taxi or public transport. Buses L94, L95, E95, L97, E97 take you to different areas of the Catalan capital and vice versa. Line L99 will take you to El Prat airport. The E marks the “express” routes with fewer stops.

With the Cercanías train on line 2, the journey to Barcelona takes less than half an hour. There are two train stops in the town of Castelldefels.

It can be reached by car via the C-32, C-31 and C-245 roads. Pay close attention to the signs so as not to miss the necessary exit.

Taxi fares are set and regulated by the local government, and a journey to Barcelona will cost from €50. The price depends on the end point of the route, the distance, the time of day and even the day of the week (more expensive at weekends).
